Commonwealth of Dominica National Day
- Media are invited to attend the flag ceremony at 1615 at Al Wasl Plaza

World Food Day at Expo 2020
- Expo 2020 is the official location for the UAE’s World Food Day celebrations
- There will be people-facing flagship, specialist closed-door discussion and youth events at Expo
- Public-facing official ceremony from 1430-1515, Opportunity Forum, with the following officials:
- HE Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment

- This will then lead into the main flagship event, from 1520-1715, at the same venue, with a variety of speakers, including UN and FAO representatives, celebrity chefs, and CEOs from local and international food companies, discussing how to improve production, nutrition, the environment and life in general
- There will be a farmer’s market located at the Opportunity Pavilion
- Many of our International Participants will also be celebrating World Food Day, including:
- Kenya – talks and activities at the pavilion (located in Opportunity District from 1000-1200)
- Baden-Wurttemberg – cooking demonstration from 1400-1445 at the pavilion (located in the Opportunity District)
- Korea – ‘K Food’ activation at the pavilion’s restaurant from 1500-1600 (located in the Mobility District)
- Australia – Stop the Waste cooking challenge from 1600-1830 at the pavilion (located in the Mobility District)

- A performance by Hungarian folk musicians

Saudi Variety Show
- The first in a series of monthly performances featuring an eclectic mix of comedy, music, spoken word, sketches, prizes and quizzes
