DUBAI – Visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai were delighted to welcome Kenya’s acclaimed Bomas Harambee Dancers on stage at Al Wasl on Wednesday as part of the east African country’s National Day celebrations.
Wearing traditional costumes, the troupe performed eight routines including the Mwinjiro, Otenga and Mwomboko.
The Bomas Harambee Dancers were formed in 1973 and have a repertoire of more than 50 dances featuring
music on percussion, stringed and wind instruments.
