A Covid warrior from Bhopal was arrested for allegedly assaulting and raping a woman. He was charged under sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The accused was identified as Javed, an auto driver and a Covid-19 Warrior for helping people. The accused will be presented in court today.
Raped and Threatened
As per the complaint, Javed has been continuously molesting and raping her when she was alone at home. She had complained it to her husband, after which he got into a dispute between them. But after so many fights, Javed continuously starts raping and threatening her. Finally, when Javed threatened to defame her, she filed a complaint against him at a nearby Police Station.
Registered Under Rape Charges
The accused has been arrested and charged under Section 376(2)N and 506 under the Indian Penal Code. He will be presenting in front of the court by today evening.
