Tokyo: Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) has suspended night shift operations at a production line at its Takaoka factory in central Japan due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the company said on Wednesday.
It said that the cancellations were made after eight plant workers caught the virus. Toyota suspended the Night Shift production of the line on Tuesday.
The partial suspension will affect vehicle production of around 650 units from two shifts, says Toyota spokesperson
