South Korea’s Korean Air Lines and Asiana Airlines are cancelling flights to Taiwan for a day or two because of Chinese military exercises in the region, local media reported on Thursday, and local media reported on Thursday.
News agency News 1 and other local media reported that Korean Air cancelled flights between Incheon and Taiwan on Friday and Saturday. In contrast, Asiana Airlines cancelled Friday’s direct flight to Taiwan and will monitor the situation.
Spokespeople for Korean Air and Asiana could not be immediately reached.
