Lava, a local company, announced Wednesday that its Blaze 5G would receive quarterly software updates for two years. The company added that it’s Lava VBlaze 5G would get a sure upgrade to the Android 13 operating system.
This phone is currently on sale on Amazon, and it was launched a few weeks ago. It is priced at ₹10,999 and is claimed as the cheapest 5G smartphone sold by the company.

The Lava Blaze 5G has been on sale officially from November 15 at noon via Amazon. The handset is priced at ₹10,999 and is one of the cheapest 5G smartphones in India. As part of the introductory offer, the smartphone will be available at a discounted price of ₹9,999. It is available in Glass Blue and Glass Green colour options.
The Lava Blaze 5G sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core SoC with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone also has 3 GB of virtual RAM.
This handset from Lava packs an internal memory of 128GB which can be expanded by installing a microSD card. The 5G smartphone runs on Android 12 operating system and has dual SIM support.
For optics, it has a 50 MP main sensor, a depth camera and a macro shooter with LED flash. For selfies, the phone comes with an 8MP camera. The handset houses a 5,000 mAh battery.
Lava’s smartphone also has a side fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock feature for authentication.
The Lava Blaze 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery. Additionally, the manufacturer claims to offer up to 50 hours of talk time and up to 25 days of standby time on a single charge.
